We’d never ventured round the back of Marble Arch tube station before as we didn’t think there was much happening there. We were wrong. Seymour Place is a street dotted with cool shops, bars and restaurants and the newest addition is Donostia. The hype around this new restaurant serving Basque cuisine is well deserved and that’s partly thanks to chef Tomasz Baranski, formerly of Barrafina. We enjoyed ham and cheese croquetas, prawn tempura and Iberico ham washed down with plenty of cava.
