Satsuma re-opened after a refurbishment at the end of the summer and set up as a specialist in katsu. And its katsu, a Japanese curry with breaded and fried meat or vegetables added, is very good, tasty, warming and filling with the right hint of sweetness to the spice mix. Small dishes of salmon sashimi and goyza dumplings were also happily eaten. If you decide on dessert, the black and white sesame ice cream is the way to go and the cheerful orange pods are the seats to grab if you can.
