We’ve often drooled over chef Yotam Ottolenghi’s cookbooks and the Islington branch of his deli and restaurant chain is equally impressive. We visited with six friends and ordered two mezze dishes each (which we planned to share). The results were spicy and delightful: tea-smoked lamb cutlets with miso-burnt aubergine and chilli-infused beetroot with blood-orange and basil. This is Inventive Medditerranean food (and we didn't share any of it).
