Passing on the Books on the Underground movement
Simple scheme: you read a book, then leave it on public transport for someone else to enjoy
About four years ago, Hollie Belton started an excellent movement in London called Books on the Underground. Simple scheme: you read a book, then leave it on public transport for someone else to enjoy. And continuing with the theme of passing things on, when an avid reader from Melbourne met Hollie in London, she started Books on the Rail with a friend back in her home town. They’re launching Australia-wide now; that’s your holiday reading sorted if you’re stopping in the southern hemisphere.
