We thought we were pretty clever making hedgehogs out of cheese and pineapple. Then a friend emailed us about Dan Cretu. He’s a visual artist, who takes everyday objects and recreates them with food. It could be a bike with orange segments for wheels and peel for a frame, or a camera made out of cucumber. They are neat, intricate and must take hours. Our pineapple hedgehogs look a bit sad now.
