How pretty is this picture? It’s part of a series called Broken Flowers by photographer John Shireman. He soaked flowers including tulips and orchids in liquid nitrogen until they became breakable. Then, using a high shutter speed to capture the flowers as they exploded, he snapped arresting images like this one. A very good idea which captures the fragility of nature.
