Andy Ellison is an MRI technologist at Boston University Medical School in the US. When he’s not carrying out life-saving scans and research, he sends vegetables, plants and flowers through his MRI scanner. Then he turns these images into animated GIFs and posts them on his blog InsideInsides. The results are both kaleidoscopic and mesmerising.
