This egg and spoon rest has plenty of room for soldiers

Thoroughly modern egg eating

We firmly believe there’s an egg for every occasion. Scrambled are for meals that need speed; poached feel a bit more luxurious, eaten on Sundays while reading the paper (or that’s always the plan, at least); and fried aren’t our favourite, but they’re great on a Friday when you’ve got a hangover and you need something – anything! – between toasted bread which will soak up the previous night’s indignities. But what happened to boiled ones, you guys? They’re just not practical, you cry! French brand Y’a Pas le Feu au Lac have sorted things out with this neat wooden holder. Be gone, small porcelain vessel. This one’s got space for your soldiers as well. £25, Not Another Bill
