Going pottery for this stoneware mug

Until we get round to doing some actual clay-wielding, we’re all about things like this

Being a potter is something we’ve always quite fancied – something about the ‘70s vibe; the soulful clay massaging and the hippy smocks and clogs outfit combo that we assume must be compulsory… Oh and the promise of having beautiful handmade pieces of pottery at the end of it, obviously. Until we get round to doing some actual clay-wielding, we’re all about things like this stoneware mug which has been lovingly handthrown by Parkwood Pottery in Derbyshire, and is as gloriously chunky and naturally imperfect as any lover of handmade things could wish. *sips tea ecstatically* Granite blue mug, £16, Lane by Post
